Kay Bojesen has created a universe of wooden figures and there are new family members in it. They are turtledoves that are more cuddly than flighty, as they stand beak to beak. They are extremely decorative on the desk and in the window, like a little reminder of love. The couple in love is a clear choice for weddings and for all that care about Danish design. Kay Bojesen designed Rattle, the first classic children's toy, in its original version in 1932. The rattle's dimensions make it easy for small hands to hold, while the ball in the middle of the rattle can move backwards and forwards, spinning around to delight the infant. The rattle is made of unpainted wood, because Kay Bojesen believed that this leaves more room for the imagination. An appealing gift idea for a christening, or as a parental leave present for anyone who appreciates authentic Danish design. The rattle is also a delightful design object for the bookshelf, and without a doubt will accompany the child on his or her journey into adulthood.

Kay Bojesen the monkey is one of the Danes' most well-known wooden figures and it was produced for the first time in 1951. A little guy with a big personality who has become an icon on a gift from a very special person. The monkey from Kay Bojesen is particularly useful for christenings, birthdays, student gifts, birthdays and weddings. It is a classic and a dear friend that moves with you throughout your life. For many, right from the children's room and into the first home, where it gets its very own place in the home. As the teak wood is plantation teak, dark spots and streaks may occur, which will diminish over time due to light and air. There will therefore be differences in the tree from monkey to monkey, making each and every monkey completely unique. You can find the other monkeys in the sibling pack on the page under Kay Bojsen.
