1. UGG aanbod in onze catalogus
UGG vind je in onze catalogus vooral in de categorie schoenen. Daarnaast zie je het merk terug in kleding en accessoires voor warmte, zoals lange broeken en loungewear. Voor comfort in schoenen en extra bescherming vind je ook inlegzolen en hoeden.
Die spreiding maakt uit welke afweging je maakt bij je aankoop. Bij schoenen kijk je sneller naar pasvorm, materiaal en slijtvastheid, terwijl je bij textiel let op warmte, lengte en draagcomfort. Bij accessoires draait de keuze vaak om hoe het item zich gedraagt in combinatie met je outfit, bijvoorbeeld onder een winterjas of in je dagelijkse schoenen.

2. Vergelijk keuzes per categoriekeuze
Maak per categorie eerst duidelijk wat je nodig hebt, want de criteria verschillen. Bij schoenen weeg je eigenschappen als schachthoogte, binnenvoering en grip op verschillende ondergronden mee. Ook zie je varianten met andere sluiting of instapgemak, waardoor het aanvoelt voor dagelijks gebruik of voor langere wandelingen.
Bij kleding en lounge-items verschuift het zwaartepunt. Bij loungewear let je op stofgewicht, snit en hoe de outfit meebeweegt, zodat hij past bij thuisgebruik of een koude avond. Bij lange broeken kijk je naar lengte, taille-afwerking en warmte van de stoflaag.
Verder bepaalt je context of je accessoires meeneemt. Handschoenen en wanten vragen om handschoenmaat, draagseizoen en warmteverdeling over vingers en hand. Hoeden beoordeel je op randvorm, draagcomfort en hoe goed ze aansluiten rond je hoofd.
3. Let op eigenschappen binnen UGG
Binnen UGG kun je modellen het best vergelijken op materiaal en afwerking, niet alleen op de naam van het type. Bij schoenen verschillen aspecten zoals binnenvoering, zoolopbouw en de mate van demping, en dat voel je vooral bij langer dragen. Ook bepaalt de schacht of instapvorm of je voeten makkelijk aan- en uitgaan.
Bij textiel zie je verschillen in warmte en pasvorm. Lange broeken en loungewear kun je beoordelen op hoe de stof valt, of de taille goed ondersteunt en hoe de zoom en naden zitten.
